One day, in a local fair, we found that on the hook a duck game. instead of fish in a bag, they had pic and mix in a bag (which is obviously more humane and tastier) We thought "yeah. make a good concept for a cocktail that" Who doesn’t love the fair/carnival! Sweets and alcohol? Yes please. We had this great idea of these just being hung at a festival for people to win. what a fun dream that was. Anyway, It should also inspire you to think about how you present your cocktail. Glasses are the norm but everything just seems that much more interesting when its, unusual. I mean lets be honest, this is a tasty cocktail! but serve it in a standard glass with no garnish and its, well. Basic. Presentation adds to flavour. Think about your drinking experience as a whole and not just what you're putting in your hole.
- 50 ML Kettle One Citron
- 20 ML Chambord
- 2 Tsp Strawberry Sherbet
- 50 ML Cranberry Juice
- 2 Dashes Rhubarb Bitter
- Combine ingredients in a shaker with cubed ice and shake.
- Fill a clear bag up with ice and sweets. Pour out the cocktail in the bag, seal the bag with a decorative wire tie and pop a stripy straw in.
Finding the right bag is key. We went through so many attempts with bags splitting and leaking, we damn near gave up. "Liquid storage bags" are what you want. standard ziplock bags tend to work well aswell. Hobby craft bags, not so good.
